CEI SUMMIT ECONOMIC FORUM

Comenius organised in co-operation with the CEI Secretariat in Trieste the second CEI Summit Economic Forum (Prague, November 3 - 6, 1999), as part of the Summit of Prime Ministers of the Central European Initiative countries, held in Prague on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of this initiative. The Economic Forum 1999 gathered more then 640 participants and opened its doors to the business and financial community, focusing on the needs of the entrepreneurial investing in Central and Eastern Europe or on providing goods and services for these investment activities. The Forum was attended by industry leaders, investment analysts, bankers and fund managers, as well as by government officials and representatives of international organisations such EU, UN / ECE, EBRD, EIB, WB and OECD.
