PARTNERSHIP FOR PROSPERITY

The Fifth West-East Conference of Ministers of Economy, Industry and Trade of G-7 and Reforming Countries
Prague, January 15 - 16, 1998

COMENIUS was entrusted by the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade to organise an international event of an extraordinary significance and level, as for the participants. On January 15-16, 1998 The Fifth West-East Conference of Ministers of Economy, Industry and Trade of G-7 and of the Reforming Countries, under the title "Partnership for Prosperity", was held at Prague FORUM Hotel.

This international action is also known as "The Muenster Process". There were more than 350 delegates from 23 countries, including the representatives of IMF, OECD, UN / ECE, EU and EBRD. To state some of the most prominent attendees - Mr. W. Daley, US Secretary for Trade, Lord Clinton Davis, Great Britain´s Minister for Foreign Trade, Mr. Gunter Rexrodt, Federal Republic of Germany´s Minister for Trade.
